Dr M Guftar Shaikh is a Consultant Paediatric Endocrinologist and Honorary Clinical Associate Professor. He has been working in Glasgow since 2008 and is the Clinical Lead for the Endocrine Service and his interests include Prader-Willi Syndrome, Hyperinsulinism and Endocrine Tumours, as well as late effects of childhood cancer and transition of care to adult services.
He is the current BSPED peer review and audit officer and was the former chair of the College Speciality Advisory Committee (CSAC) for Paediatric Endocrinology & Diabetes and actively involved in the training of paediatric endocrinologists.
